Hopscotch provides care and learning for children aged 2 and 3. Children can start from their 2nd birthday. Our staff ensure that learning follows the interests of our children and is fun and responsive to the children’s needs in a warm and welcoming environment.

Our two-year-old curriculum is carefully planned to ensure that all children thrive and achieve with a particular focus on the prime areas of learning. These three areas include Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development. These areas are crucial for a child’s learning and development and for success in their later education.

As part of our daily routine, children have the opportunity to take part in a nursery rhymes session, sit down snack and story time. Children also have access to their own indoor and outdoor environment which provides resources and equipment suitable for their age and development. In Hopscotch, we prioritise high quality interactions between our highly skilled team and the children in order to develop their communication and language skills further. Our vision is to provide our two-year-olds with strong foundational knowledge, enabling them to flourish and become the best versions of themselves.

Children are able to attend for half a day or a full day depending on need, providing there is availability. We also offer lunchtime provision if required.

Places are available for children of parents entitled to two-year-old funding.

Fees – £12.50 per session or £26.00 for a full day (there is a £1 lunch cover fee)
